We will gather together to celebrate the re-birth of Nature, the return of flowers and the wondrous healing colors. We’ll honor the Water and the Sun so that we may receive their cleansing, nourishing energy.
The celebration will begin with a one hour sound bath offered by Iris McCray, a certified Sound Healing Practitioner from Manassas, VA. She plays and loves the sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Harps Solfeggio & other Tuning Forks, Indigenous instruments like Flutes, Rattles Drums, Berimbaus, Bells, Diggeridos, Anklungs, Steel Drums and other Sound Healing Tools. You may wish to bring a pillow and blanket to comfortably lie down and receive the sound-vibrations. A gratitude donation is requested for participation.
The afternoon will be spent honoring Spring through ceremony and rituals led by Lorinda Ulmer owner of Grandfather Says.
The celebration will end with a fire circle and drumming in the evening.
Lunch and dinner will be potluck style or bring your own.
This event is considered a fundraiser for The Land Celebration and donations are appreciated. Accommodations are available if you wish to spend the night. Please contact Suwaylu for reservations at 540-270-8713 or email [email protected]
